Pink Ribbon Tattoos
A former participant who is a 14 year survivor (Go Cami!) came to us with an
idea that, to our knowledge, is innovative. She, like most breast cancer
survivors, was left with a small (1/8” diameter) black tattoo from the radiation
therapy, just to the left of her sternum. This “dot” became increasingly nagging
at her until she came up with the idea to get a tattoo of a Pink Ribbon to cover
the radiation “dot.” This prompted us to contact a local tattoo shop, and they
loved the idea so much that they are sponsoring Cast for the Cure, Inc. by
offering Pink Ribbon tattoos to any breast cancer survivor or supporter for
the incredible price of just $20.00.
